The Official Opening of Leinster Fleadh 2011 takes place at County Hall, Portlaoise on Monday, 4th July, at 8.30 pm with Labhras Ó Murchu, Árd Stiúrthóir, CCE in attendance – All are Welcome. Before the Official Opening, everyone is invited to come at 7.00pm sharp to join the Historical walking tour of Portlaoise (Maryborough) which has been organised by the committee with the help of the local historical society as part of the week’s festival and cultural events. Light refreshments will be served following the official opening. |

We’d like to thank the Heritage hotel for kindly offering to host the Ceili/Set Dancing on Friday the 8th and the Ceili Bands on Sunday the 10th of July. This is an excellent venue and is conveniently located in the centre of Portlaoise town. View our amended timetable.
